Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle is dynamic and highly desirable quadrant of Centretown. It is bordered by Elgin Street to the west, the Courthouse to the north and the Queensway to the north. Its predominant feature, though, is the canal, which runs along its eastern border. You would be hard-pressed to find a resident of the Golden Triangle who doesn’t use the canal for one activity or another!

Despite its proximity to the restaurants, pubs and nightlife along Elgin Street, the area’s residents find much quiet along residential streets. This small neighbourhood offers great schools, several parks, a community center complete with pool and a strong sense of community. Its older period homes are interspersed with newer infill and range from apartments to large single-family homes.

The Golden Triangle is a stone’s throw to the Rideau Centre, Byward market, Parliament Hill, museums and galleries. The recent addition of a pedestrian walkway provides direct access to Ottawa University.
