I am absolutely passionate about real estate and feel truly privileged to have the opportunity to work in such a dynamic, complex and fulfilling environment. Since obtaining my licence in 2004, I have had to opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients in Ottawa’s great neighbourhoods. Whether working with a first-time buyer, a seasoned seller, or a savvy investor, I recognize that every situation is different and requires a unique approach.
I am a graduate of Queen’s University and also the Algonquin College Culinary Management Program. I spent many years in both the customer service and sales industry and ran two successful businesses before embarking on my real estate career. With a love for learning, I decided to fulfill the courses required to become a Broker and continue to further my education at every opportunity. I have always been committed to giving back to the community and doing volunteer work whether with my kids sports teams or local environmental and social justice groups. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Gallery 101 in Ottawa and am involved with the Parkdale Food Centre. Over the past several years I have had the amazing opportunity to work with local shelters for victims of domestic violence and have raised money participating in long distance treks in both Iceland and Morocco.
Having been born and raised in Westboro, I have an in-depth knowledge of the fabulous neighbourhoods Ottawa has to offer. For many years I was a resident of the Glebe and Old Ottawa South.
My family and I live in Wellington Village. We have a 1930’s home which we have completely renovated. It’s a super place to raise our 3 kids and the neighbourhood offers a perfect blend of quiet community streets and a vibrant commercial area. For us and our mischevious dog it’s the perfect place to call home!
I recently went through the process of building a eco-friendly passive house in Wakefield, QC and in my free time enjoy hiking, skiing, biking, travelling and playing in the woods.
