Community Spirit

Diane and Jen - Ottawa Real Estate Agents - Community Spirit Banner

Community involvement is important to us! We believe strongly that we should give back to the communities we work in and have had the wonderful opportunity to meet some fantastic folks along the way. Here are some we have been fortunate enough to align ourselves with:

Enriched Bread Artists - Diane and Jen

With our personal interest in the local art community, sponsoring the Enriched Bread Artists has been our privilege since 2014. The Enriched Bread Artists is a nonprofit, artist-run space dedicated to the production and development of the visual arts by providing affordable studio space, located in Hintonburg.

Royal Lepage Shelter Foundation Logo - Diane and Jen

The Royal LePage Shelter Foundation is dedicated exclusively to funding women’s shelters and violence prevention and education programs and contributes 100% of funds raised to support these women and children across Canada. We are proud to be a Top 10% donor, and have been sharing a portion of our commission from each and every sale, since 2012. We support this wonderful charity in every way we can!

Hintonburg Community Association Logo - Diane and Jen

The Hintonburg Community Association is a volunteer-led group of local citizens eager to make a difference in the community, and we were proud sponsors from 2009 through 2015, supporting its wide range of events and activities throughout the year, and attending many of the events ourselves!

Ten Oaks Project - Diane and Jen

The Ten Oaks Annual Bowl-A-Thon is held each year, and we are always proud sponsors. All money raised supports programming for children and youth.

Glebe Community Association GNAG Logo - Diane and Jen

The Glebe Neighbourhood Activities Group is a volunteer-driven community group working to enrich the Glebe community by delivering recreational, cultural and social activities and services. We are proud to support the Glebe House Tour each year, and to have donated items for the kids in the past.

Community Activity Group Old Ottawa East Logo - Diane and Jen

The CAG Old Ottawa East is a voluntary, not for profit, community-based organization that works in partnership with the City of Ottawa to provide the residents of Old Ottawa East with programming, recreation, and special event opportunities that are local, affordable, inclusive and of interest to members of the community. We are proud to be a sponsoring partner of CAG activities and events since 2013.

Various community sports teams and neighbourhood schools are always looking for financial support and we are proud to donate ours to the West End Hockey League, Elmdale School and St. Francois d’Assise, among others.

Flavours of Ottawa Westboro Holiday Food Market Logo - Diane and Jen

Ottawa Speciality Food Association (OFSA) – We are proud to have been the sole sponsors of the Westboro & Holiday Food Fairs in 2012-2014 in support of the Westboro Region Food Bank. Goodies were plentiful and we were happy to support our own local speciality food vendors and small business owners!

Boomerang Kids Logo - Diane and Jen

Boomerang Kids Strollercise program has been providing emotional, physical and social support to thousands of parents in Ottawa. A special ceremony of appreciation from the Strollercise participants to Boomerang Kids was held on October 1, 2010 and we were proud to sponsor a commemorative bench, made from 100% recycled materials, which was placed on Echo Drive, kiddy-corner from Boomerang Kids on Bank Street in Old Ottawa South.

Old Ottawa South Community Association - Diane and Jen

We have been happy to support the Old Ottawa South Community Association with t-shirts for their after school program and their Homes Between the Bridges Home Tour, held May 31, 2009, which featured six unique homes in the neighbourhood for ticket holders to visit. The proceeds from the Homes Between the Bridges event went towards the Old Ottawa South Firehall Community Centre redevelopment fund, now a truly wonderful hub for the community.

City of Ottawa Historical Archives - Diane and Jen

The City of Ottawa Archives held a daily exhibit to celebrate Ottawa’s rich history of contribution to Canada’s favourite pastime. Our wonderful city has helped shape and mould the sport of hockey over the last 125 years and we were proud sponsors of the event which provided information to visitors of the City of Ottawa Art Gallery, through artifacts, images and trivia.
