Perhaps you were cooking for 20 (more or less) this holiday season. And perhaps you had family members drifting non-stop through your small kitchen – looking for snacks, checking the fridge to make sure it’s working, inspecting the inside of the cookie cabinet, looking for some conversation. Maybe that kitchen didn’t feel so small BEFORE the holidays.
Sometimes it’s just a case of making your space more functional. You can hire a designer – some of whom will work on an hourly consulting basis – to optimize your space. Be sure to choose your contractor carefully. Sometimes the good ones are worth waiting for. Other times, the space just isn’t there and you need more. A new kitchen that includes reconfiguring and the addition of space is a costly commitment, but one that pays off if done properly when you decide to move. Sometimes it just makes sense to move. Spotting the potential in a home is hard for some people to do and there are so many homes that just don’t have it. If yours is one of them, give us a call to find that better kitchen this year. If you can’t spot your options, just ask. We’re happy to give you an honest opinion and sound advice anytime.
